Project Details

Ο Στέργιος Γιαννούλας καταγόταν από το χωριό Οξύνεια (Μερίτσα) και συμμετείχε στη Μάχη αυτή. Οι Έλληνες μαχητές χωρίστηκαν σε τρις ομάδες. Η πρώτη ομάδα του ΕΑΜ με υπεύθυνο τον καπατάν Αδαμάντιο και αποτελούνταν από κατοίκους των χωριών Οξύνεια, Αγναντιά, Κακοπλεύρι και Σταγιάδες. Η δεύτερη ομάδα του ΕΑΜ που αποτελούνταν από κατοίκους των γύρω χωριών του Αγιόφυλλου με υπεύθυνο τον καπετάν Ζαραλή. Η τρίτη ομάδα αποτελούνταν από την αντιστασιακή οργάνωση ΜΙΔΑ με υπεύθυνο τον ανθυπολοχαγό Αριστείδη Μπλούτσο που καταγόταν από το χωριό Οξύνεια. Το γενικό συντονισμό της Μάχης τον έκανε ο καπετάν Αδαμάντιος κατά κόσμον Ηλίας Καφαντάρης. 

Ο Στέργιος Γιαννούλας ανήκε στην ομάδα του Ζαραλή. Μετά την αναγνώριση της Εθνικής Αντίστασης κάποιος (αγνοώ το όνομά του) πήρε βιντεοσκοπημένη συνέντευξη.
