Project Details

Ο Μπαρμπαλιάς (Ηλίας Μπέλος) γεννήθηκε το 1906 στην Οξύνεια και απεβίωσε το 1990. Ο Μπαρμπαλιάς ήταν ένας ήρωας της Μάχης της Μερίτσας. Έπαιξε τον ρόλο του "προδότη" προκειμένου να οδηγηθούν οι κατακτητές στο μέρος που τους περίμεναν οι Έλληνες μαχητές.

Το παρακάτω κείμενο είναι ένα απόσπασμα από το βιβλίο του Αριστοτέλη Ράπτη με τον τίτλο "Στην κόψη του σπαθιού και του στοχασμού".
