CAFÉ MORTEL

Η γνώση της θνητότητας άραγε, καθιστά τον σύγχρονο άνθρωπο ικανό να βλέπει αρχικά και να χαίρεται, να απολαμβάνει στη συνέχεια τα «δώρα» της ζωής; Η γνώση της θνητότητας κάνει καλύτερο το σύγχρονο άνθρωπο σε επίπεδο ατομικών συμπεριφορών ή παγκόσμιων ηγετικών και πολιτικών αποφάσεων;

Τα «café mortel» ( η ιδέα ανήκει στον Ελβετό ανθρωπολόγο Bernard Crettaz) λειτουργούν στα καφενεία πενήντα και πλέον χωρών του κόσμου και στόχο έχουν όπως χαρακτηριστικά υποστηρίζουν οι ιδρυτές του, «πάνω από ένα φλιτζάνι τσάι ή καφέ» να γίνονται συζητήσεις γύρω από τον θάνατο με σκοπό «να δημιουργήσουμε μια κοινωνία πιο συμπονετική, να συνειδητοποιήσουμε ότι είμαστε όλοι στην ίδια βάρκα, ότι είμαστε όλοι θνητοί και ότι η ζωή και ο πλανήτης στον οποίο ζούμε είναι πολύτιμοι».

Ο θάνατος είναι «εκεί» για να σηματοδοτεί και να υπενθυμίζει όλες τις Ανα(σ)τάσεις στις οποίες οφείλουμε να ωθούμε τους εαυτούς μας μετά από κάθε μικρό ή μεγάλο «θάνατο» κατά τη διάρκεια της ζωής, αλλά και να ζούμε τον «πολύτιμο» των στιγμών που τη συνθέτουν.

Ονειρόδραμα

Ο ηθοποιός Δημήτρης Κουτρουβιδέας, η πιανίστα Μάγδα Νικολαΐδουκαι η σοπράνο Μάιρα Μηλολιδάκη εμπνευσμένοι από τα “café mortel”, επιμελούνται ενός μουσικο-θεατρικού προγράμματος και δημιουργούν, μέσα από τον λόγο και τη μουσική, το πλάνο για μια συζήτηση-κάθαρση γύρω από τον θάνατο ως φωτεινό «σηματωρό και κήρυκα» για τη διαχείριση της ζωής.

Ο θάνατος δεν είναι κάτι φοβερό, γιατί τότε θα ήταν και για τον Σωκράτη. Τον θάνατο τον κάνει φοβερό η ιδέα ότι είναι φοβερός.

Πένθησε με μέτρο τους γνωστούς σου. Γιατί δεν έχουν πεθάνει, αλλά τον ίδιο δρόμο που όλοι αναγκαστικά θα περάσουμε, αυτοί τον πήραν πρώτοι.

Πεθαίνοντας θα προσφέρω στους ανθρώπους τα πιο πλούσια δώρα μου. Αυτό έμαθα απ' τον ήλιο, που όταν δύει είναι τόσο λαμπρός και με τους ανεξάντλητους θησαυρούς του βυθίζεται στη θάλασσα, έτσι που κάνει τον φτωχό ψαρά να κωπηλατεί με χρυσωμένα κουπιά.
